After five days climbing, Dave was ready for a rest day. We slept in, enjoyed a bigger than usual breakfast, then did chores at the trailer (e.g., water, putting the hitch back in the truck, brushing the cat).
We then headed out to UNLV to meet up with Tim Hart for lunch. As usual, that was a good time. Following, we went to the grocery store then made it over to John & Jennifer’s home. This is the couple with whom we shared Thanksgiving in November.
What a blast! We lounged around the pool, chatted, drank wine, and enjoyed a really beautiful sunset. We took advantage of the cool clouds and sunset to take some serious and some not-so-serious photos. Then we all enjoyed a fabulous dinner. Jennifer is an amazing cook.
After dinner, Jennifer and Dave broke out some Easter candy. Blue Easter candy. No more needs to be said. Ha!
Jennifer and John’s cat is really beautiful but has a bit of an attitude problem. He comes into a room, gives one a look over, then hisses. I don't buy it though, one can tell he's a nice cat - just a wee bit scared.
It was getting late, so we said goodbye and headed back to the trailer. To our dismay, the wind was kicking up again. Blargh.
