We got up and headed back to Todd’s house. A group was convening there to go climbing. After cleaning up a bit from the party, we all headed to Hidden Valley in the park.
The group included Roy, Lisa, Peter Mayfield, his son Brayden, Zip, Anastasia, Nature and many others. We first did Sphincter Quits. This is a climb Dave and I did when we met. It was super fun, and it was fun to sit atop with Dave, Roy and Peter with a barrel of monkeys below us.
Next, we walked around and did Clean and Jerk. To Dave’s surprise I loved this climb. There was one move that was super powerful that I did not get, but the rest I did. It was such fun that I actually laughed through the off-width section. What a great climb!
Next we walked over to Sail Away. This is an easy climb, but one that Dave has never done since it’s always very crowded. There was a party there, so we did the climb to the left of it. Then we did Sail Away.
You can tell that Dave spent most of his time on top of the climbs. Not a single photo of me in action!
By this time, it was getting late and we needed to get back to Red Rocks so we packed up and headed back to Vegas.
