Peacocks are great fun. There are several adults around, one hen on eggs in the barn and many juveniles running around. They do so many fun things. The adult males are walking around displaying to everything. As I mentioned in the last Houston entry, they prefer displaying to the side of the house. :)
The white one displays to the back of the house, while the blue one prefers displaying to the side of the house. Equally fun is watching the juvenile males. They do not have their long tails but that does not stop them from practicing their displays. They practice for random chicken, tires, dandelions, and each other.
I've offered a series of photos of two young males practicing. Here are our fronts, here are our sides, here are are backsides. I especially like how the adult white male took up a seat to observe.
This morning mom, Rachel and I went for a pedicure at the House of Masochism Nail Salon. Then off to do some shopping, and ultimately to the pool to hang out.
