I met up with a group of friends in City of Rocks Idaho to climb for about 6 days in late September, always a good time. First up upon arrival was a quick solo of a 3 pitch route up Jackson's Thumb, here next to my finger and if you look closely you can see 3 or 4 climbers on the route.
I stayed with my friend Kim and his son Joe a couple of nights and enjoyed climbing with Kim a couple of days as well mainly down at the Castle Rock State Park near his home.
Eve and Ralph hanging out at their van at the group campsite.
More post climbing hanging out with the gang.
Typical night time campfire scene at the group camp.
Hiking out to climb at Comp Rock at Castle Rock State park on a beautiful day!
Doing a cool 5.10 route on the north side of Comp Rock.
Some of the gang at the base of north Comp Rock.
The obligatory group pic before hitting the road back to Colorado. A fun time!
