Dave flew to Indiana to hang out with his brother Doug, and his wife Mary for a couple of days. It was the first time he'd been to their home. Lots of fun was had! Here Doug is hanging out in the kitchen area.

Of course, lots of time was spent with Poppy, their Italian Greyhound. She's a doll!
Their home is adjacent to some wooded area making watching birds a lot of fun in the morning.
Doug and Dave headed to a local park that is known for good birds. There were many feeders and lots of birds to watch.
This locale also had some interesting exhibits.
In addition, there were cages with birds who had been injured and could not be released into the wild.

Doug and Dave then headed toward Knoxville TN to visit their dad. En route, they stopped at University of Indiana Bloomington to visit with Mac.

But wait! They then headed to Asheville NC to visit their mom. Here is Doug with her.
And Dave and his mama! After the excellent visits, they drove home and Dave flew back. Sounded like a really great time by all!
