I had to get back to Boulder for work so it was time for me to take off. We drove from Lover's Leap to Echo Lake. It's a pretty area that has some climbing. Maybe some day....
We then drove to Truckee, CA. We spent the afternoon there looking around and then having lunch.
We then goofed off at Donner Summit for a little climbing followed by some time at Lake Tahoe. It was a lot of fun just hang out.

In Truckee, we found quite the display of hot sauces!
It's a fun little town center though we spent some time in 'real' Truckee at a coffee shop. It was even better.
Cool gas pumps. This place in Truckee is being turned into a beer pub.
In Lake Tahoe!
We ended the day at our friend's home - Aaron and Nadia who live in Reno. They were kind enough to let us crash at their home. The next morning early I flew home. Later that day, our friend Andy C flew in from British Columbia. He and Dave headed west for more climbing....
