Just for the heck of it, Dave and I went to Flagstaff Mountain, where we were married, to have a picnic. The menu was excellent: mojitos, sushi, spring rolls, pasta and some chocolate mousse. Yum.
For a while, it wasn't clear we'd get to go - the weather was dark, there was lightning and thunder. Top of Flagstaff is no place to be with that lightning (which in fact started three fires in Boulder that were extinguished quickly).
By the time we got there, we were able to enjoy some sunshine, an amazing double rainbow (btw, I've never seen so many double rainbows than we have here), and some pretty skies.
Great time. We'll have to do it again soon. Enjoy!
