I mentioned earlier that the home renovation work is contagious. Another element of that is that one room gets organized and done only to become the center of the chaos universe again.
Such is the case in our home. The Den was done. Clean. Organized. Awesome. Then Dave and our friend Mark built in some cool storage in the Den closet. A major and much needed improvement. We didn't take a before photo, but imagine a tiny darkish closet with boxes on the ground full of all sorts of stuff. And yellowish walls. Ew.
They had a great time building the box (1,000 tools required I'm told). Then installing it. Then I got to paint (yay) and Dave reorganized stuff into it. In the interim the Den looked like a bomb went off. Close stuff was in the Den. Dave's office stuff was in the Den. It was a world class mess.
While they worked on that, I was busy painting in Dave's office (and the dining room ceiling). He wanted white which seems boring but he does photography work in there so have a color isn't be feasible.
Things are looking far better now. The closet is organized. His office is almost organized (look a few blogs back for a sort of before photo). And best, the Den is almost clear of stuff again.
Dave's office looks really good. Worthy of the work that comes out of there. 
Next up is the bird's room. That may be next weekend. I look forward to getting it done. At that point, the entire house will have had a new fresh coat of paint. Yay! 
Oh, and lights too. More lights should be installed soon...once we decide on the lights. Hopefully then this stuff can stop!
